As the year comes to a close, all of us at Living Arroyos would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated interns, partners, and supporters. Your hard work and commitment have made 2024 an incredible year for our habitat enhancement efforts, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
This year has been nothing short of amazing in the field! Together, we have:
- Pulled 1,890 gallons of invasive weeds to help restore native habitats.
- Used 21,440 gallons of water to nourish our restoration plantings and ensure their growth and survival.
- Dedicated 370 hours in the field, contributing to the health of our ecosystems and the beauty of our community.
From early mornings spent nurturing new plantings, to the sweat and determination of weed removal, each effort has been a step toward preserving the natural beauty and vitality of our watershed.
As we look ahead to 2025, we are excited about continuing our journey to restore and enhance local habitats. Whether you’re a returning volunteer or someone looking to make a difference, we invite you to join us in making next year even more impactful.
Wishing you all a joyful holiday season filled with peace, gratitude, and time spent in the great outdoors. Here’s to a new year full of hope, growth, and collaboration!
Warm regards,
The Living Arroyos Team
