On Saturday, November 16th, volunteers gathered at Arroyo Las Positas in Livermore for a Living Arroyos creek cleanup. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of 33 amazing volunteers, we made a significant impact by cleaning up half a mile of the creek and collecting 750 gallons of waste in the process!
We would like to extend a special thank you to our returning volunteers, many of whom have been attending events since the program’s inception in 2013, and to the volunteers from Sewa International. Sewa International’s Bay Area chapter is one of the most active, engaging in a wide range of projects and activities covering all dimensions of service, including disaster relief and rebuilding, family services, and local community volunteering.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed their time and energy to this important cause.
