We are excited to announce that the Alameda County Resource Conservation District (ACRCD) has joined the Living Arroyos program as the new implementation partner! The mission of the ACRCD is to provide leadership in the County and region in natural resource conservation, wildlife and habitat preservation, and agricultural enhancement through partnerships, education, outreach, resource services and technical expertise. We look forward to the collaboration and what the future holds for the program. Stay tuned for our upcoming volunteer opportunities!

We’re back and we missed you!

It’s been an entire Program year since we hosted our last volunteer event. Though we missed our volunteers terribly, it was a necessary step to protect the safety of our crew and our volunteers. The crew has been hard at work all this time, waiting for the right time to welcome back volunteers.

New Program Partner

We are excited to announce that the City of Dublin has joined the Living Arroyos Program. The Program will be helping to reduce trash loads in Dublin through regular creek clean-ups of trash hotspots. Dublin will also be utilizing our sibling program the Adopt a Creek Spot, to provide creeks for local citizens and groups to adopt.

March Events Cancelled

Due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19, the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District has cancelled all public events and programs until the end of March 2020. This will effect our volunteer event scheduled on March 21st. We will keep you posted on any further developments, stay safe!

On February 1st and 15th we will be planting native plants at Robertson Park.

On February 15th we are partnering with the Adopt a Creek Spot to host The Love Your Creeks Clean-up. We have three different spots in the Springtown area. 

Creeks to Bay Clean-up 2019

We will be hosting the eighth annual Creeks to Bay Clean-up with the Tri-Valley Adopt-a-Creek Spot on September 21, 2019. This clean-up effort is part of the global Coastal Clean-up day where communities come together to prevent garbage from entering our oceans.
